The ECI has revised the rates of remuneration/honorarium to be paid to polling personnel on election duty as indicated below:

Class-I/II-Rs.3000/-Lump sum.
Class-III-Rs.2000/-Lump sum

Rs.10000/- for full-time election duty or on pro-rata basis.
The above rates were made applicable / payable to the staff for attending training classes, collecting polling materials etc, and also for attending duty on the polling day/ counting day.
